  1. There is a treasure supposed to be hidden in our liss in Keelnahera. It was supposed to be put there by the Danes in olden times. I didn't hear of only one attempt being made to unearth it. This was made by my Uncle (John Hayes). He dug for it with a spade, but his work was in vain. It was supposed to be gold that was hidden there. I didn't hear of any other treasure discovered in this locality. The old inhabitants
