- During the famine a man was supposed to be dead; he was put into the grave. After three days his legs were sticking out; they opened the grave; they gave him a stroke of a shovel across the knees, they bent his knees and he lived for about thirty years after. I did not know him but I heard other people talking about him and his name was Tom Guerin.
