    name from an old mill that was in the village. There are traces of the old mill yet to be seen.
    There are seven people over seventy years of age in my district. Their names are, Mrs Cunningham, Mrs Connor, Mrs Riely, Mrs Toolan, Mr. John Daly, Mr. Patrick Daly, and Mrs Madden, Mullen, Frenchpark.
    It was more thickly populated in former times. There are seven houses in ruin in Mullen. In former times there lived in my village two families called Owens, two families called Dillon, one called Oats, one called Burns, and one called Callaghan. Now all the people out of these houses are dead
