  2. Long ago, when people belonging to this district would go to America, or to any other country across the sea, they would always bring clay from beside a blessed well called Saint Fasar Well. It is believed that when there would be a storm on sea that if some of this clay was thrown out on the sea, that the storm would cease. Even yet, some people bring some of this clay with them when crossing water, from one country to another. This clay is to be got at a distance of one field from the road leading from Keadue to Ballyfarnon. It is situated about three miles from Bridge-Cartron School.
