    who lived in the townland was called Katie McKenna who is dead over 50 years.
    In 1892 there were sixty-four people living here and ten servants but in 1939 there are only thirty-five and one servant. That is just under half. There are two people over seventy, Miss A. Abbott and Mrs Thornton.
    The crops grown are: Oats, potatoes, turnips, mangols, cabbage, grass-seed, hay, peas. There are three good dwelling-houses uninhabited, the land is "set" each season.
    A man called James Greenan living in Liseveny was out hunting one day and jumped off the fort. He felt something hit his leg (his hinch) The leg got smaller and smaller until he died. It was supposed the fairies had bewitched
