There is a field in Cromague used to belong to Mick Clerkin occupied by Owen Kieran now, called Clerkin's Battle Field because there used to be battles fought there.
There is just one thatched house in it. The most common name is Kieran.
No big river in this townland. One small river divides it from the townland of Drumbinney.
    Names of Fields
    1. The Stripe :- Called this because it is long and narrow.
    2. The Gravel-hole :- Because there was gravel raised in it.
    3. The Well Field :- Here is our spring well.
