  1. On Christmas morning early
    When the snow is on the ground,
    The Band of Griguenamanagh
    Will parade the streets around;
    You'll hear the drum go rum-tum-tum
    And the cornet sweetly play
    That people, all both great and small
    May know 'tis Christmas Day
    II
    They'll waken up the echoes
    As they pass along the street
    They'll waken up the sleepy heads
    To hear their music sweet
    They'll play from Ryan's corner
    To foment the priests hall door
    But they won't wake up the good P. P.
    For he'll be up before.
    III
    My lazy friend take warning
    And get up for goodness sake
