    to patients who are unable to come. A play is usually held here in honour of the saint and it is known as the 'Hermit of the Well'. Saint Fiacre was a friar, so this is connected with the Franciscan Order. There is a large crucifix erected near the well, which has three sets of steps leading up to it.
