    Long ago in ancient Ireland cruel were the sufferings the poor Irish had to bear. In those dreadful days nothing was thought of evicting a poor tenant and his wife and family and leaving them to perish on the roadside.
    About 54 years ago in 1884 many poor tenants were evicted around my district for non-payment of rent by the unmerciful landlord. Even those
