    of telling funny stories but many of them are true. Long ago there used to be such things called mermaids. The maids used to dress in the water and come out in the sunshine. When the sun would go down horses would be seen to appear beside these mermaids and they would get up and ride about the banks of the river. There mermaids lived in deep rivers.
