    under the rocks.
    There is remains of a big rock named Corby rock, where long ago when the Danes were here a priest said Mass for the Catholic people.
    Mass was said under this rock on Sundays, and on holidays, and when it was wet the people took a board to kneel on. This rock is out the Ballybay road about a mile and a half outside Monaghan.
    A Priest named McNally was saying Mass on a holiday morning before day-break when an English soldier was passing
