    "The Sally Meadow", is so called on account of sally bushes that grow in it.
    "The Far Field", so called on account of its distance from the dwelling house.

    The names of the fields on my farm are the "Long Field on the Hill," "The Garden," "The Paddock" "Connors Field." Connors was the name of the family that was living in it at first. "Magree's Bog;" in olden times, people called Magree lived in a house in that field.
    The four fields on the Bog, Tullobrin Hill in John's well parish. There were horse races held there long ago. The Brown mountain in Knockshanbally is so called on account of the brown turf that is got there.
