Some of the Landlords were very good and more of them were bad evictions were carried out. A Parish Priest of this district named Father Birch was evicted. He resided were Mr. Hunt of Rockbrook, Ballyfoyle, Co, Kilkenny lives now. This district was not planted during the plantations. They who were evicted went to America and Australia. The Landlord Judge Andrew divided the land into farms. When the sons and daughters of the Irish families were getting married they got a piece of land each. The landlord had great power over his
