  1. One day as Brian Condren of Uskerty was going to the creamery, and as he was going by the rath, he saw a big white cat. He "whisted" the dog, that he had with him after the cat; but instead of the cat running away from the dog, the latter ran away terrified from the cat, which disappeared. Another night a man was going home from "rambling" (going to visit a neighbour's house, is know as "rambling" in this locality; and as he was passing the rath, he heard a dog barking
