  1. The post office call the place Ballinakill but the old people call it Bearnacoille. Further there is a place named Bearna near the mentioned place and one time a wood stretched from 'Comer to Ballinakill, and it was said that a squirrell could travel from Comer to it without touching the ground. The name is taken from a gap in the wood called an Bearna
