- Thomas Dwyer has a cure for a pain in the back. You boil sloes and strain the water off them, and then boil the water again and when it is hot rub it hard into the back. Thomas Dwyer lives in the top of Knocknadogue.
Mrs. Mc Carthy has a cure for yellow janders. You get a wild flower called wild-sadge, with a white flower on the top of it, it grows on moss. You boil the flower and when the water is white, drink it.(continues on next page) - Collector
