    Upperhill and long ago it was supposed to be a secret meeting place of the Yeomen, and they used to cut the heads off the clergy there.
    As you go up Barrack Hill on your left at the last block there is a little flow of water coming out over the wall. There is a big cursed elder there and it is said that there were men hung there. If you look at the tree closely you will see red on it and that supposed to be their blood.
    At my grandmother's house on the far side of it there is a hedge called
