- Slow wine - Many a time I made it and it is very nice. First I gathered them and washed them and put them in a bottle and put water and sugar in it. Then I dig a hole in the ground and cover it with clay and let it stay there for nine days and(continues on next page)
- Rose-Noble It grows about four feet high and is of a green colour and there is a good many berries on it. It grows every where. It was a great custom in time gone by to make it. First of all they got a pot and put water in it and sugar and then the Rose noble and boiled it and then take it off and leave it by for a couple of days and drink it.
