  1. There is a hollow in a land near Aghabog Chapel. This hollow shakes when anybody walks on it. One Hallow-Eve night there were fairies seen at it and people say there is gold in it.
(Told by my father Tom Corrigan, labourer, Calliagh)
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
  2. One night when a man was going to a neighbouring house he was going past the Crockin. He saw a crowd of wee men working at shoes. He said to one of them "You are working very hard". One of the men said "I am not working so hard as the man behind you." When the man turned round he could not see any of them at all. They were all gone and he went on his journey. The same thing happened at Greenan's Cross.
(Told by my grand mother Mrs Ellis 76 Drumhilla).
Transcribed by a member of our volunteer transcription project.
