- (continued from previous page)made from the cow's hoofs. The cows give milk, and from the milk butter is produced. The goats milk in some parts is made into cheese. The donkey is the laziest of the farm animals.
- There is a story connected with milking. When a cow is bought in the fair the luckpenny is placed in the bottom of the milking bucket and the cow after calving is milked on the luck penny for three or four times.
There is an old saying about carrying eggs over water. it is said that eggs should not be carried over water, without putting clay into them,
