    He called upon his butcher the
    truth to you I'll tell.
    He been up in Carrick, Moynagh

    come in time
    He called upon John Hand.

    When John received the order
    He quickly did prepare, and
    with his knives and melets
    Is up the road did square.
    And when he landed at the place
    He spoke up like a man saying
    how long is these pigs fasting
    What odds says Mary Ann.

    Twelve hours is the length of
    time they should be without food
    To make them easily handled
    And to make the pork look good
    he called upon his servants, who
    were smiling standing round.
    Who ever would club the pig
    for to swing him of the ground.
    in case he would get a broken
    ham and you would receive a nail
    So mind that its very dangerous
