  1. Measles = nettle tea. This tea is made by chopping nettles and put some boiling water on them.
    Headache = Ginger and water, get a spoonful of ginger and put it in a cup, then put hot water on it and take it
    Mumps = A cure for the mumps, is to put the donkey's winkers on your head, and go into the pig-Stye saying, Muckie, muckie, muck, muck, muck.
    Warts = A cure for warts is to rub a snail to the wart and hang him on a bush, as the snail withers the wart will wither.
    Burn = Baking Soda and buttermilk. Put the soda into the buttermilk and put it on the burn.
    Jaundice = Ass's milk, get the milk and drink it.
    Sore throat = Tie a damp cloth
