one whom this slipper would fit would be his wife. He went around the houses to see whom would the slipper fit. He came to Cinderella's house, and the two sisters tried to put the slipper on them but it would not fit. Then he tried it on Cinderella and it slipped on her foot. She became his wife and they lived happily and well ever after.
