  1. God bless Friday and Good Friday too,
The Friday Our Lord was crucified on,
The Jews they came with their spears so sharp,
And pierced Our Savior from hand to heart,
His Blessed Mother was standing by,
With a heavy heart and a mournful cry,
Those who say these words three times by day,
or three times by night, in rememberence of Him, neither death nor fire, nor the seven deadly sins, nor the gates of hell shall they enter in. "I lay my heard unto the Cross, O Lord, O Lord, remember me."
O Queen of Heaven, Queen of Angels, You are always good and kind to me,
And when I am on my great trial,
I hope you will plead for me,
With fear that I would be cast away,
Your Son no more to see, O glories Queen of Angels, I hope you will plead for me.
In the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, crucified. I lay myself down to rest. Bless me, O Lord, defend, and govern me, and after this short and miserable pilgrimage, bring me to ever-lasting life.
