of an old monastery there and people are buried within the ruins.
Muckross Abbey graveyard is situated on a height overlooking the lakes. It is the nicest graveyard of all and people are still buried there. There is a ruin of an old monastery there yet. There are very old crosses and monuments there also. These crosses are worn from the weather and the Irish writing on them is very hard to read.
