    to be a very unlucky place. The old people always said there were ghosts to be seen about it and even to this day people are nervous when passing it at night.
    There was one room in this big house and there was no window in it, and the ghosts were supposed to be locked up in it. There were stones on the gate going into the yard and men's heads were cut out on them but I never heard who they represented.
    The Land Commision bought this place about thirty years ago and divided it into small farms. They pulled down the big house and built new houses for the farms. There is a hole in the street that must have been used for
