Sweeneys, Merricks, and Ballantines. There were no more houses in Whitehill in former days than there are now. There are no songs or sayings about Whitehill. It is hilly and there are some parts of it good land, some fields are boggy some of the people have a lot of bog on their land. There are no woods growing here, or no rivers, or lakes, there are two or three streams but there are no storries connected with them.
