  1. The proper way to make potato starch is; Put the potatoes first, then grate them finely and strain them in a cloth into a bowl.
    After this add some cold water and leave and to share, after, a little while throw off the water and then put it on the fire to boil, stirring it the whole time while on fire.
    This starch is supposed to be far better than than the Robin Starch where we buy and this is by far a cheaper starch.
    It was only starch used in olden days when there was no other to be got.
