    of any disease. People drink the water out of the well and some people bathe their feet in it. Money is left at the well. People tried to use the well for house-hold purposes but it would not boil. There is a tree at the well but it is cut down now.

  2. There is one holy well in this parish and it is situated in the parish of Dromard and in the Co. of Sligo.
    The people from all parts of the county come to visit the holy-well from the twenty-ninth of June to the fifteen of August. The people go round the well three times and prayers are
