  1. Food in Olden Times.
    Often times people had to do with one meal a day. Because they had hardly no food and it is said some people might have one meal a day, and others none and hardly ever in the olden times where you would see two or three meals a day in a house because they had not the price of it maybe especially for tea or sugar and then they were always eating potatoes and then they were tired of them also they used to take with the potatoes also salt and buttermilk. Indian meal stir-about also was food they used they used mostly in the olden times Also they ate indian meal bread and the people long ago around here lived on
