  1. The Rich Farmer
There lived a farmer in this district at one time when the fairies were in fashion who always kept ten or twelve cows.
Every morning and evening when milked, one cow spilled her milk.
One evening when the farmer was taking the cows home, he heard a child crying in a fort on the land and he heard a woman saying to the child wait, the cows were going home to be milked and they would have plenty of milk soon.
Hearing this the farmer gave her the cow and told her to keep it. She kept it.
Seven years after, the farmer found the cow and twentyone heifers on the farm and he always was rich and happy ever after.
