- About thirty years ago a man named Paddy Barry lived in the townland of Baile an Phortaigh, Parish of Ahamlish, Barony of Carbury, Co Sligo.
He was six foot six inches in height and about fourteen stone weight.
He mowed an Irish acre of meadow (for Mr Sam Miller of Magherow, Co Sligo) in one day.
He was a wonderfully strong man.
