  1. Long ago when Priests were hunted like the wolves and the same price was paid for the head of a Priest as that of a wolf, they had to say Mass in barns and byres and in every possible hiding or secret place.
    A man named Thomas Mc Garrigle, who lived in the townland of Creevymore, Parish of Ahamlish, Barony of Carbury, Co Sligo gave his barn to a Priest to say Mass in.
    Some spy or bad-minded person who heard about it, ran off and told the soldiers.
    Immediately they hurried to Mc Garrigle's barn and put the priest to death. Then they killed the owner
