    Pilgrimage to St Patrick's Wells.
    Every year on the feast of the National Apostle the 17th of March, the people of North Leitrim and North Sligo make a pilgrimage to St Patrick's Wells which are situated on the Leitrim side of the river Duff.
    The Parish Priest of Kinlough comes there, says the Rosary, and preaches a sermon on the life of St Patrick.
    While the Rosary is being said the people kneel around the Well, and answer the Priest.
    After that Hymns are sung including a Hymn to St Patrick.
    On the way going and coming home from the Wells the local bands play patriotic tunes. The people bring holy water home with them and have great belief in it.
