  1. A Funny Story
    There was a pedlar there long ago and he was travelling all day long until night. He could get no lodgings. At length he saw a light in the distance and he went towards it. In this place there was no lodgings to be got by any stranger. However he asked the man of the house if he could stay for the night. He said he would give God for a security that anything would not go wrong. They all went to bed. The pedlar packed up every thing he could get in to his bag . Off he went for the road again. He was travelling all that day and coming on the evening it got foggy and wet and he lost his way. Night fell and he saw the light in the distance. He made for it. He knew the man of the house since the night before and the man of the house knew him. "Come up to the fire" said the man of the house. "I have ten times the welcome I had for you last night . I knew the security you gave would bring you back again.
    So the pedlar drew his bag and threw it out on the floor
