    The Pound is the name of another field in the district, because it was there all the cattle of the whole village of Clash used to be put by night to prevent them from trespassing on other farms, because there was no boundary between the farms that time.
    Kilmore means the big Church. There are the ruins of seven Churches there.
    The monastery was robbed and plundered by the Danes in the 9th century.
    Rahela means Healy's Fort.
