The night the lady married Browne a horse was heard coming across the draw-bridge and the pattering of feet was heard in the hall. The door opened and in walked two bodiless legs and sat near the bride. A body grew out of it and before all present appeared the handsome but bloody form of Mac Sheehy who pointed an accusing finger at Browne.
Browne fell in a dead faint from which he never recovered. The body then disappeared and the legs walked out by themselves and the horse was heard going like thunder across the drawbridge. It is said that Mac Sheedy visits the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
