  1. Long ago the people were very superstitious and they practised a great deal of pishogues.
    About seventy eight years ago two families lived in the district of Kilelton.
    One of their names was Kissane and the other one was Nolan.
    Mrs. Nolan used to carry Kissane's milk through Pishogues.
    The Kissanes were making butter they used to keep the milk in a tub in the kitchen.
    One of the Kissanes was a tailor by trade.
    The way in which the Nolan woman used to carry the milk was: -
    She used to go into Kissane's house while they used to be milking the cows and she used to take the coals out of the fire and take them out.
