  1. Begora, my patriot brothers,
    Grand news I have to tell,
    The Land League here in Leitrim
    Is organising well,
    And all our Leitrim patriots,
    May quite their foolish spleen
    And join the Land League Movement,
    Again in College Green,
    On the 15th day of August,
    I'll mind for evermore,
    Many a Land League banner was seen,
    That day in Ballinamore,
    Full fifteen thousand heroes,
    Assembled in the town,
    To raise the cause of Liberty,
    And Landlords to put down,
    They marched in grand formation,
    They made a great display,
    With fifes and drums,
    They marched along,
    Their hearts were light and gay,
    Each hero was decorated
    With our own immortal green,
    And our saintly priest presided,
    Called Dr. D McBreen,
