  1. A cure for the chincough.
    Give a ferret a saucer of milk. When the ferret has drank some of the milk take it from him and drink the remainder. Then you will get better.
    A Cure for the Chillblains.
    Get a basin of warm water and put some salt in it. Leave the foot with the chillblains in the water for a a while and they will get better.

  2. A cure for boils
    If you have boils get salt and warm it. When it is warm put it on a piece of cloth and put it to the boils.
    A cure for a bleeding from the nose.
    Get a halfpenny, put it to the roof of your mouth, keep it pressed with your tongue, and the bleeding will stop.
