    appear to be conscious of the lights on his cars and he went on his journey quietly as usual. The candles remained stationary on the donkeys ears until the man reached home. He unharnessed the donkey from the cart and the candles were still in position, but when he began removing the harness from the donkeys back the lights disappeared.
    At first the man was very frightened but as the donkey showed no signs of fear, the man gained courage and kept on his way hoping every moment to see his strange visitors depart. When he reached home however,
