  1. Hallow Eve.
    Hallow Eve is celebrated on the 31st of October. It is looked forward to by young and old. The young play all sorts of tricks and the old people assemble together and relate stories of their youth. They also tell stories about the "good people" or fairies, as they are supposed to have special leave to roam the country on this night. I have heard old people tell several tales in connection with the fairies doings on this night.
