    No 1. Never throw out ashes or sweeping on a May morning.
    No 2. Never lend or borrow on a May day.
    No 3. Never give away any milk without putting salt on the vessel.
    No 4. When every cut worm is in oats people get blessed salt and shake it in the four corners of the oats field.
    No 5. When - ever a cow spills milk people say it is no harm as it is gave to the good or they want it.
