    In olden times hedge-schools existed in this Locality.
    My father told me that those schools were situated, one in the Townland of Corafoora another in the Townland of Greenawn, another in the Townland of Drumrahill and that there was also school taught in a neighbours byre beside us.
    The teachers name who taught in the school in the townland of Corafoora was Alec McDonnell.
    Alec never attended his school regular as he was very fond of bearing so therefore he never had a big crowd of pupils.#
    He always went home
