  1. Francis McGann was born in the year 1786. His father was Peter and his mother Mulvey from the mountain of Aughacashel.
    Mikey Keville of Drunlara is now living where Francis was born. Francis attended Hugh McDonalds hedge-school on Pat McGann's rock
    where his car-house now stands.
    From there Francis went to Owen Reynold's school in Mohill in Glebe Street - under the Fair Green.
    Owen was great at Mathematics and was known locally as the "Bright Star"
    Francis then went to Parson Kane of Drumsna and learned a smattering
