    Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent. The people receive the blessed ashes on that day.
    Good Friday.
    On Good Friday, the people to to the church and they do the stations of the cross.
    Easter Saturday.
    People hide eggs on that day.
    Whit Sunday and Whit Monday.
    The people say that if a foal was born on either of these days that it would be a dangerous animal.
