  1. Riddles:-
    These are some of the best known local riddles commonly used in the district.
    (1) I went to the wood and I found it. I sat down to look for it but I couldn't get it and I took it home with me because I couldn't find it.
    Answer: A thorn in one's foot.
    (2) Said a child to its father: how does it come that you are my father and I'm not your son?
    Ans. The child was the daughter.
    (3) What makes more noise at a gate than a pig?
    Ans. Two pigs.
    (4) What stands on one leg and has its heart in its head?
    Answer. A head of cabbage.
    (5) A kitchenfull, a roomfull and you couldn't get a spoonfull - Smoke.
    (6) A duck before two ducks, a duck behind two ducks and a duck in the middle between two ducks - three ducks.
