    Then the butter is gathered with the dash. The butter is then taken out and put into a wooden dish. The buttermilk is washed out of the butter and it is made into a roll. Some of it is made into "prints". Butter bats are used in the making of butter. Buttermilk cakes are made from buttermilk.
