    One evening last November right well I do remember...

    One evening last November right well I do remember.
    We had frost and snow together and the weather it was cold
    And I being young and airy I sped just like a fairy
    Across icy dykes and ditches till I went to Brackloon more.
    Where a dance was lately published and there came a first rate piper
    And the colleens being so pretty they induced me there to go.
    So in the best of form I went into the barn
    And I saw some pretty girls fro Brackloon and Knockroe.
    I stood in contemplation as to where I could be seated
