    have bad luck. When they were coming home from the marriage, the people used to have bonfires lit for them.
    There would be a wedding held in the house on the night of the marriage. Some of the boys near where the wedding took place, that would not be asked to it, would (not be asked to it) go in as straw-boys to it. They would wear old clothes, straw-hats and straw-belts.
